I have heard of so many horror stories, people thinking they had a deal but end up in a fiasco.

  • For example: Someone within a company (who had decided not to use a party planner) was organizing a trade show for his company with a party in the evening. They had a carnival theme and wanted to have a couple of clowns walking around entertaining their guests with magic and juggling etc.

  • What had happened: the agent had sent them two very young clowns who were only used to helping at parties for children they were not even magical clowns.
